New Mexico Archaeology Fair in Taos, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The Fair is a family-oriented event where adults and children can learn more about archaeology, how archaeologists analyze pottery sherds and how stone tools are made. Participants can make their own pinch pots, try their hand at launching spears with atlatls, and learn about the history and prehistory of northern New Mexico. Location: Millicent Rogers Museum, 504 Millicent Rogers Rd., 4 miles north of Taos Plaza and 1/2 mile south of U.S. 64.
